Max Hurst

Max is committed to helping buyers, sellers, and investors achieve their real estate goals. Before becoming a real estate broker, he worked in commercial property assessment, specializing in the income approach to valuation. In that role, he performed market research and financial analysis to evaluate income-producing commercial properties.

Earlier in his career, Max worked in engineering consulting and technical sales, where he built a reputation for problem-solving, attention to detail, and providing responsive, dependable service. He holds a degree in chemical engineering and brings a practical, thoughtful approach that helps clients make confident decisions throughout the buying or selling process.

Outside of real estate, Max is a ski instructor at Purgatory Resort and enjoys spending time in the mountains year-round. He also dances West Coast Swing and serves as a board member of the West Slope Westies, supporting the local dance community in Durango. He originally moved to the area for its skiing, climbing, and hiking, and has made it his home for both his love of the mountains and the community.
