Cindy Payne

Cindy is the Principal Broker and Co-Owner of EXIT Realty Thoroughbred. She is a long-time member of Plum Springs Baptist Church, where she serves on the audio/video team. She received her real estate license in 2007 and is a former graduate of Western Kentucky University. She went on to earn her broker license for Kentucky and for the states of Tennessee and Alabama. Her commitment to service led her to be elected as President of the REALTOR® Association of Southern Kentucky (RASK) in 2016 and to become the Region 2 Director for the state of KY which put her on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Realtors from 2019-2021. Because of her commitment to the real estate industry, she became the RASK REALTOR® of the Year in 2020 and then received the Ward Elliott Distinguished Service Award in 2023. Cindy, who moved to Kentucky in 1982, has become an integral part of the community, both professionally and personally, raising her family alongside her husband of over twenty years. With six children and nine grandchildren, she finds joy in her family while also pursuing her passion for helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams.
