More Than 30 Years of Real Estate Experience

Annette's real estate career began in Tulsa, Oklahoma, shortly after high school when she went to work for First American Title Company. She later transferred with the company to Houston, Texas, where she also began taking college-level real estate courses. Her early experience in the title industry gave her a strong foundation in contracts, closings, property ownership, and the many details involved in a successful real estate transaction.

Annette received her first real estate license in Illinois in 1990 and joined the Alton/Wood River Association of Realtors. In 1994, Annette and her family relocated to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where she began working full-time in Middle Tennessee real estate. She has continued serving Murfreesboro and the surrounding communities ever since.

New Construction & Builder Experience

Annette and her husband, David Masterson, are the owners of Masterson Homes, Inc., building single-family residential homes throughout Middle Tennessee. Her extensive involvement in new home construction gives Annette firsthand knowledge that goes well beyond a traditional real estate transaction.

She understands the process from land acquisition, planning, and development through construction, marketing, contract negotiations, and the final sale of a new home. This experience is especially valuable when representing buyers purchasing new construction, builders marketing new homes, homeowners competing with new construction, and property owners considering the development potential of their land.

Annette also specializes in estate properties throughout Rutherford, Bedford, and Cannon Counties. Professional Experience & Recognition

Annette was named 1997 Realtor of the Year by the Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors. She earned the GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute) designation in 2000, became a licensed Tennessee real estate broker in 2005, and earned the RCS-D designation from Divorce This House in 2008.

In 2025, Annette became licensed in Tennessee as a Vacation Lodging Service (VLS), further expanding her professional experience in the short-term and vacation rental industry.

Annette and David also own Masterson Vacation Rentals, providing Annette with extensive firsthand experience in vacation rentals, short-term rental management, property ownership, investment real estate, and hospitality.
