Mr. Carlos Lancaster is Broker and co-owner of Exit Right Realty. Mr. Lancaster purchased the franchise located in Laurel Maryland in 2005 with his brother Corey Lancaster. He has been selling and investing in real estate for the past 11 years.
Mr. Lancaster has been managing the day-to-day operations of the brokerage for the past 8 years. He is also President of the Exit Brokers Council for the Mid-Atlantic region. In 2008, Exit Right Realty won the Founders Award for the Exit Mid-Atlantic Region. He is also a member of National Association of Realtors (NAR), Maryland Association of Realtors (MAR) and various local Real Estate Associations from Washington DC to Baltimore Maryland.
Mr. Lancaster has teamed up with various non-profit organizations to assist with certain community needs from having Back to School supply giveaways , Big Brother mentoring programs, coat & toy drives during the holiday seasons.
Mr. Lancaster was able to successfully transition from corporate business as a Certified Public Account (CPA) to an entrepreneur environment. He regularly engages with individuals and groups to teach strategies about formulating a plan to fulfill entrepreneur aspirations utilizing the knowledge and expertise that he learned from various sources of information and practical application.
Before embarking into real estate, he had worked for regional accounting firms, the National Association of Security Dealers (NASD) as well as non-profit organizations. Mr. Lancaster is an optimistic person who is able to tackle challenges and solve individual or organizational problems. Through education and a variety of life experiences he has developed excellent communication skills that allow him to effectively communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
Mr. Lancaster grew up and currently resides in Maryland, but his company serves the metropolitan area near Washington, DC. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1996 with degrees in Accounting & International Business. He also spent eight years in the U.S. Army attached to a military intelligence unit.
