After graduating from college in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree, Bob entered the working force in management with Roadway Express, a less than truckload common carrier. He remained with Roadway Express for nineteen years, working in management and sales, making moves along the way to Grand Rapids, Madison Heights, Warren, Alma, and in 1989 to Jackson, MI. Married to Myra (his college sweetheart) in 1978, they have two grown daughters, Elizabeth and Maribeth.
In 1997, working for a transportation company that closed their doors, Bob decided to pursue Real Estate as a career. He received his real estate license in June of 1997 and has been active ever since. In 2003, Bob earned his GRI and ABR professional designations, as well as acquiring his Associate Brokers license. In 2004, Bob bought an EXIT franchise and is currently the broker of record.
Bob is a member of the Jackson Area Association of Realtors, the Michigan Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. He is involved in many organizations in the Jackson area, including the Jackson Chamber of Commerce, Jaycees, Rotary Club, and Elks Club. He enjoys sports, active in the local community softball and bowling leagues. Bob also has taken up running to fill his exercise need.
When not involved with his career in real estate, Bob enjoys spending time with his family, and you might even catch him on the softball diamond or at the local area running races.
